Where do you come from, and what's your story?

My name is Angelica. I am from the wild Bogota, the capital of Colombia. I am a language teacher based in France looking to learn about the culture and share everything I know about the place I come from.

What is your place of origin, your hometown?

Bogotá, the vibrant capital of Colombia, pulsates with rich cultural diversity and historical significance. Nestled in the Andes Mountains, the city boasts a tapestry of cultural expressions, from its pre-Columbian heritage making it a must-visit destination for cultural enthusiasts.

Where would you like to be for your dream vacation?

Right now I find myself exploring Europe. It is beautiful and interesting but I want to continue exploring Colombia, a very full-of-life destination.

What message or special talent do you want to share with the world?

As a teacher, I am a guide, nurturing curiosity and potential in every student. In the vibrant environment of learning, I create spaces of warmth and acceptance, where cultural exchange flourishes alongside academic growth. Beyond desks and books, my impact reaches into the depths of souls, leaving an indelible imprint of love, learning, and the beauty of diverse cultures coming together.

Work Experience

2022 -2024

2018-2022

2015 - 2017

I began teaching Spanish as a foreign language in France, focusing on Colombian culture and history. This experience not only enabled me to enhance my proficiency in French but also provided me with the opportunity to share insights about my culture with students."

I served as a self-contained teacher, where I had the opportunity to expand my pedagogical repertoire. This role allowed me to integrate language instruction with fundamental subjects such as mathematics, science, and social studies, thereby enriching the learning experience for my students

I have extensive experience as an English teacher in elementary education. While I initially served as a classroom teacher, I sought a new direction to further enhance my professional journey.
